Discussion of the Research Proposal by Student Wahib Abdulwahab Ahmed Baddah

On Saturday, 1 Sha’ban 1446 AH, corresponding to February 1, 2025, a session was held to discuss the research proposal of Wahib Abdulwahab Ahmed Baddah, titled “An Optimized Machine Learning Framework for Heart Disease Prediction,” as part of his Master’s degree in Information Technology. The session was attended by the academic supervisor, Dr. Hamza Qasim, the research examiner, Dr. Mukhtar Ghaylan, the Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Hamid Al-Jabr, the Graduate Studies Registrar, Dr. Yasmine Sinan, and the Head of the Information Technology Department, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Sarmi, along with several of the student’s colleagues.
The discussion covered the research topic, objectives, and significance, as well as the adopted scientific methodology and the steps for conducting the study. During the session, the student delivered a detailed presentation of his research proposal, explaining the problem he aims to address and the key hypotheses to be explored. Attendees provided their academic and advisory feedback to ensure the research quality is enhanced and its academic goals are achieved.
At the conclusion of the session, the academic supervisor praised the student’s scientific level, emphasizing the importance of refining certain research aspects in accordance with the provided feedback to ensure the completion of a comprehensive study that contributes to the enrichment of knowledge.
