نالت الباحثة منى محمد محمد غُثيم، درجة الدكتوراه من قسم مناهج العلوم وطرائق تدريسها بكلية التربية- جامعة صنعاء- عن أطروحتها الموسومة بـ (تطوير منهج الأحياء وفق مدخل (STEM) وفاعليته في تنمية التفكير الإبداعي والتدفق لدى طالبات المرحلة الثانوية في الجمهورية اليمنية) يوم الخميس 21 شعبان 1446 هـ الموافق 20/ 2/ 2025م.

وهدفت الدراسة الى التعرف على معايير مدخل (STEM) التي ينبغي توافرها في محتوى كتب الأحياء للصفوف (10- 12)، ومدى توافر معايير مدخل (STEM) في كتب الأحياء للصفوف (10-12). وتقديم نموذج من خلال تطوير وحدة دراسية في مقرر الأحياء على وفق مدخل (STEM)، ومعرفة فاعلية التدريس وفق المنهج المطور وفق (STEM) في تنمية التفكير الإبداعي، والتدفق النفسي.

وأشارت أهم نتائج الأطروحة إلى الآتي:

• بلغت نسبة التوافر الكلية لمعايير مدخل (STEM) في محتوى كتب الأحياء لصفوف المرحلة الثانوية (10-12) (33.33%).
• وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات التطبيق القبلي والبعدي لصالح التطبيق البعدي في اختبار التفكير الإبداعي، ومقياس التدفق.

وقدمت الدراسة التوصيات الآتية:
تطوير مناهج الأحياء ومناهج العلوم بشكلٍ عام وفقا لمدخل (STEM) بشكل يُظهر علاقة علم الأحياء بالعلوم الأخرى (تكامل العلوم).
دمج ابعاد التدفق ومهارات التفكير الإبداعي في محتوى المنهج الدراسي؛ وبخاصة مناهج الأحياء لتحقيق تحفيز الدافعية للتعلم الذي يُفضي للإبداع.
الاستفادة من تصميم الوحدة المطورة في هذه الدراسة من قِبل مطوري المناهج.
الاستفادة من مقياس التدفق الذي تم إعداده في هذه الدراسة.

حضر المناقشة عدد من الأكاديميين والباحثين والطلاب المهتمين وزملاء الباحثة و أفراد أسرتها.

The Public Viva-Voice Examination for the PhD Dissertation hereto entitled: ” Developing the Biology Curriculum According to the STEM Approach and Its Effectiveness on the Development of Creative Thinking and Flow Among Female Secondary School Students in Yemen Republic”, submitted by Ms. Muna Mohammed Mohammed Ghuthaim Department of Science (Curricula and Methods of Teaching Science), Faculty of Education –Sana’a, was held on Thursday, 21/08/1446 Hijri corresponding to 20/02/2025. The study aimed at:-

1. Identifying the standards of the STEM approach that should be available in the content of the biology curriculum for grades (10-12).
2. And the extent to which the STEM approach standards are available in the content of the biology curriculum for grades (10-12).
3. Developing a study unit in the biology course according to the (STEM) approach as a model.
4. And knowing the effectiveness of teaching according to the developed textbook according to (STEM) in developing creative thinking and psychological flow.
   The study concluded that the total percentage of availability of STEM approach standards in the content of biology textbooks for secondary school grades (10-12) reached (33.33%). – There were statistically significant differences between the averages of the pre- and post-application in favor of the post-application in the creative thinking test and the flow scale.
   Many recommendations were suggested as: developing biology textbooks and science textbooks in general according to the STEM approach in a way that shows the relationship of biology to other sciences (integration of sciences). Integrating flow dimensions and creative thinking skills into textbooks content; especially biology textbooks to stimulate motivation for learning that leads to creativity. Utilizing the developed unit in this study by the curricula developers. Taking advantage of the flow meter prepared in this study.
