كممثل عن جامعة البيضاء شارك الدكتور صالح بن صالح شرخة عميد كلية الشريعة والقانون بالجامعة كمتحدث ضيف في المؤتمر الدولي حول “ربط المعرفة مع مختلف التخصصات لتحقيق تأثير عالمي ” (6-7 مارس 2024) الذي عُقد في جامعة خواجة بندنواز، الهند.
خلال المؤتمر ألقى الدكتور صالح محاضرة حول ربط المعرفة بالجوانب المتداخلة للثقافات في التعبير الأدبي. استناداً إلى أمثلة من خلفيات أدبية متنوعة، تُعطي المحاضرة أهمية كبيرة للقوة الديناميكية للسرد القصصي في تشكيل الوعي العالمي واحترام ثقافات الشعوب، بعيداً عن الهيمنة الغربية التي تسعى لتشكيل ملامح ثقافات الشعوب بما يخدم طموحاتها وأيديولوجياتها التوسعية.

Invited as a Guest Speaker to the International Conference on “Bridging Knowledge from Diverse Disciplines for Global Impact,”(6-7 March 2024) held at Khaja Bandanawaz University, India.
During the conference, I delivered a talk entitled “Bridging Knowledge: The Intertwining Threads of Cultures in Literary Expression.”
Drawing on examples from diverse literary backgrounds, the lecture emphasizes the significant role of storytelling in shaping global awareness and respecting the cultures of peoples, away from Western hegemony that seeks to shape the cultures of peoples to serve its ambitions and expansionist ideologies.
The study has tried to telescope the socio-cultural threads of literature with the multicultural writers as their spokespersons. The cultural productions of the chosen writers with all the issues and concern they seek to articulate and find a way out of, and the critical discourse that seeks to map together facilitate a broader realm of knowledge and cultural understanding.
The session tries to fill in a research gap in the academic debates over the intersection of various cultures and how this intertwining boosts the fabric of global literary expression.
Above all, this lecture would go a long way in helping the student of culture arrive at a coherent view of the hybrid nature of culture in a world that is at once borderless, and virulently territorial.
It was a truly engaging experience to share ideas and perspectives on how cultural diversity influences literary discourse and shapes our understanding of the world. The opportunity to contribute to such a significant academic gathering was both fulfilling and enriching.
